Green Smoothie

How can I give one recipe for a green smoothie when the possibilities are endless?
Some general guideline: adding greens to dark skinned berries, like blueberries, can
lead to an unappetizing brown color. Still tastes delicious, but maybe not as inspiring
as you’d like. Spinach (and lots of it!) will give you the brightest, greenest smoothie
without any bitterness that you might find using kale, chard, collards or romaine. If you
are new to green drinks, start small, adding a handful of spinach or a few leaves of kale.
Aim for a ratio of 50:50 fruit to veggies. If a recipe is too bitter, 1-2 pitted medjool dates
should balance the flavor.

Ingredients to Consider

kale, Swiss chard, spinach, cucumbers, green cabbage,
strawberries, apples, pears, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, fresh ginger, cashew milk, almond milk, hemp milk, cinnamon,
anise…
