Dairy
Almond, hemp, rice, and coconut milk, also soak cashews overnight and blend to create a dairy based sauce, including cream cheese.
Citrus
This is a tricky one, try a splash of apple cider vinegar or bright fresh herbs like lemon grass, parsley, or tarragon. Tart Granny Smith apples and tamarind paste
can also give a recipe the “lift” that citrus usually provides
